CALL TO CONFESSION
Psalm 32:5 5Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. So, let us draw near to God with sincerity and confidence, and pray together.
Prayer of Confession: Sometimes, we are not ready for things to be made new. Help us, God, to imagine the new earth that you envision for our world. Help us see ourselves in it. Give us wisdom and courage to hasten the coming of your day. Amen.
Words of Assurance: God is patient. Think of this as salvation. God speaks peace. All will be made well. Amen.
