Post graduating, Alton Senior High School, Alton, IL, she received her registered nurse training from Lewis and Clark Community College of Godfrey, IL and then received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science from McKendree College of Lebanon, IL.
Amy resides with her husband Patrick and two daughters, Haley 5 years old and Hadley 3 years old in Godfrey, IL. They are members of St. Ambrose Catholic Church of Godfrey. Patrick is employed by IBEW Local 649 and works at Phillips 66 as an electrician. In her spare time, she enjoys working in the garden, home design and being with her family.
Amy feels that God has truly guided her on a path towards Parish Nurse Ministry and she is grateful to serve East Alton First United Methodist Church. Faith Community Nursing allows her the ability and time to serve the “whole patient”-the mind, body and soul. Her mission is “to bring the healing love of Jesus Christ to the church and community through care, listening, services, programs and prayer.”
